LEADING CORPORATE ATTORNEY VICTOR L. REID JOINS PCT LAW GROUP


McLean, Virginia (January 15, 2008) – PCT Law Group, PLLC announced today that leading corporate transaction attorney Victor L. Reid has joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Reid will be based in PCT Law Group’s Washington, D.C. office.

Mr. Reid brings over 13 years of corporate transaction and general corporate experience to PCT Law Group. His practice includes the principal areas of leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund formation, private equity transactions, and financial services institution regulation and transactions. Mr. Reid has represented numerous companies in transactions totaling well over $5 billion.

Prior to joining PCT Law, Mr. Reid was counsel at Arnold & Porter. He has also practiced in the Washington, D.C. offices of Hogan & Hartson and Kirkland & Ellis. Prior to private practice, Mr. Reid worked at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in the Office of the General Counsel as well as Counsel to Commissioner and Acting Chairman Barbara P. Holum. He also clerked for the Honorable Harold L. Cushenberry, Jr. of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Mr. Reid is a graduate of the Howard University School of Law, where he was Senior Associate Editor of the Howard Law Journal, and received a B.A. from Morehouse College.
